Collective Agreement Apts

The local provisions of the collective agreement, as it is officially called, have no deadline and remain in force until new agreements are reached. Local agreements complement their respective national contracts. A collective agreement is a written contract negotiated by one or more unions with the management of a company (or employers` organization) through collective bargaining for workers and which regulates workers` working conditions. This includes regulating workers` wages, benefits and obligations, as well as the obligations and responsibilities of the employer or employer, and often involves dispute resolution rules.* If you are entitled to more than twenty days of leave and you are a member of the MUHCEU, you can also take these additional days separately outside the normal period of leave (from 15 May to 30 September). The local APTS and SPSICR-MUHC agreements do not mention additional days. You can also take up to five days of annual leave in a recruitment mode, after consulting your department on the dates. These days do not appear on the annual vacation plan. If you have one or more years of service on April 30, you are entitled to four weeks of paid annual leave. With at least seventeen years of service, you are entitled to additional annual leave as follows: local collective agreements were negotiated in the mid-2000s between the unions and the McGILL University Health Centre (MUHC). When choosing winter holidays, you must enter all the holiday weeks to which you are entitled until the end of the reference year.
